St Philip’s To Kick Off Fall Concert Series In New Hope-Solebury
"Broadway Through the Decades" concert will feature vocal and piano performances.

NEW HOPE, PA — St Philip’s Episcopal Church in New Hope will once again host a series of concerts this fall. The first concert, “Broadway Through the Decades,” will be held on September 15 at the historic church in New Hope and will feature show tunes from the 1920s to 2020s.
The concert will feature iconic songs from classic shows like "Kiss Me Kate" and Cabaret, to contemporary hits from Little Women and Waitress. This captivating program celebrates the evolution of musical theater, showcasing the timeless themes and dynamic trends that have defined Broadway music across the ages. Rachel Benoir Kaczor, concert organizer and featured performer says, “Broadway Through the Decades” is a passion project. It’s a chance to educate audiences on the history of musical theatre and the evolution of Broadway music.”
Kaczor has studied musicals for more than twenty years. She earned her B.M. in music theatre from Westminster Choir College in 2010. Since then, she has been performing in productions, teaching private music students, and directing plays, operas, and children’s shows. She has served as St. Philip’s cantor and choir director since 2016

Kaczor will be accompanied by pianist, Roburt Gadjos, who has been the principal musician for St. Philip’s since 2001. Gadjos has played the piano for over sixty years. He attended the Pennington School on a music scholarship, then studied piano in Princeton, N.J., and later at Oberlin College. He earned a B.A. in piano at the College of Performing Arts.
The pair will also welcome special guest, Crystal Huau, an experienced educator with a passion for the performing arts. An elementary school teacher for 21 years, Huau is a performer at heart and appreciates this opportunity to sing her favorite genre of music.

The concert admission is free, but a free will offering will be taken. Light refreshments will be provided. The concert begins at 3 p.m. and advanced ticketing is not required.
