"Sweet Baby James" To Celebrate The Music Of James Taylor In Newtown

Expect the ultimate James Taylor experience, with favorites like "Fire & Rain," "You've Got a Friend," "Shower the People" and much more.

NEWTOWN, PA — The historic Newtown Theatre will present “Sweet Baby James: America’s No. 1 James Taylor Tribute Artist” on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m.

Nashville’s Sweet Baby James comes to Newtown with his popular “Walking Man” solo acoustic show. Bill Griese (aka “Sweet Baby James”) sounds so much like Taylor vocally, and plays his signature guitar style so faithfully, fans say you can close your eyes and imagine you’re listening to the legend himself.

Expect the ultimate James Taylor experience, with favorites like “Fire & Rain,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” “Shower the People,” “How Sweet It Is,” “Steamroller,” and more; plus hidden gems and deeper cuts for a truly Taylor-made performance honoring one of music’s greatest troubadours.
