TMA Teaches Bicycle Safety Practices To Council Rock Students
The students are learning basic bicycle safety skills, including helmet fit, road rules, and hand signals from the experts.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Community Traffic Safety Program of TMA Bucks has been conducting bicycle safety lessons throughout the Council Rock School District. The lessons took place during physical education classes this winter and were aimed at educating students on essential bicycle safety practices.
The lessons covered several key areas of bicycle safety. Students learned about proper helmet and bike fit. They also received instruction on the rules of the road. Correct hand signals for communicating with drivers and pedestrians were also taught.
Participating schools included Goodnoe, Churchville, Richboro, and Hillcrest elementary schools. Students had the opportunity to practice their newly acquired skills and hand signals on a small safety course that featured stop signs, caution signs, and traffic signals.
