Person Fell On Tracks, Hit By Train On SEPTA's West Trenton Line
Breaking: A train hit a person on the West Trenton line Tuesday, SEPTA said.

A SEPTA train hit a person at the West Trenton Station Tuesday. According to SEPTA Chief Press Officer Andrew Busch, a person was hit by the train as it started to depart the station just after noon. The person then fell onto the tracks and came into contact with the train, Busch said.
Medics attended to the person at the scene. They were then transported to a nearby hospital at approximately 12:20 p.m. Busch was not aware what hospital the person was sent to, or their identification.
"The person was said to be conscious at the scene," he said, noting he was not aware of the person's current condition.

According to information from SEPTA, the incident resulted in service disruptions between Woodbourne and West Trenton stations. Some trains were canceled.
