The Newtown Township supervisors will review plans for an expansion and renovation at the Village at Newtown Shopping Center during a meeting Monday.
The meeting begins at 8 p.m. at the township municipal building, 100 Municipal Dr, Newtown (located off Rt. 413).
Brixmor Property Group, which owns the shopping center in Newtown Township, has submitted plans for a major renovation and expansion.

According to a zoning plan submitted to the township, the property owners are hoping to add three new buildings to a portion of the shopping center across from McCaffrey’s. To make way for the buildings, the two existing buildings, including the Bank of America, would be demolished.
Another 6,000-square-foot building is proposed near where Premier Urgent Care and Barre 3 is located.

Harvest Seasonal Grill, a farm to table wine bar, has plans to move into the portion of the shopping center previously occupied by Margiotti and Kroll Pediatrics.
Additionally, a 3,500-square-foot freestanding bank is proposed near Saladworks, as well as a 1,600-square-foot freestanding café.
