Wayward Horse Corralled By Police In Upper Makefield

Police captured the horse but are trying to find its owner. Spread the word to help get this horse back home.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — Police in Upper Makefield corralled a wayward horse thanks to the help of local business owners and the SPCA. Now, they're trying to find the horse's owner.

The horse was found running throughout the township Tuesday, police said. The experience "allowed us to get in touch with our inner cowboy as we tried to rustle him up. But, our skills are a little rusty so it’s a good thing that we have people we can call," police joked in a Facebook post.

Heather Roberts from Sit, Stay, Nikki Thompson from Bucks County SPCA, and Dwight Ely from Ely Farms helped corral, transport, and house the horse.
