Winners Of Halloween Window Painting Contest Announced In Newtown

Families, individuals, friends and others brought Halloween to Newtown with impressive window artwork on State and Sycamore streets.

NEWTOWN, PA — The organizers of the 2022 Halloween Window Painting Contest in Newtown Borough and Newtown Township have announced this year's winners.

Kim Orr won Best Overall for her window at the Salt Cave.

Best Fall Themed was won by the Holland Elementary Art Group for the window at the Newtown Hardware House.

Scarlett Stucky and Brooke Kuttner won for Best Use of Pumpkins at Starbucks.

The Best Store Themed award went to the Loessy Family at the Zebra-Striped Whale.

The Best Small Paned Windows went to St. Andrew Art Club at the WSFS Bank on Sycamore Street.

St.Katherine Drexel Art Club won for Best Large Window at Ace Hardware.

The Escobar & Nichols Families won for Scariest Window at the Havana Smoke & Vape Shop.

The Kauffman Group won for Best Movie/Story Themed Window at Ned's Cigar Store.

The Cirone Girls won for Funniest/Silliest Window at the AllState office on South State Street.

And Carriage House Artists (Linda Storione, BettyAnn Kolonis, Lynn Kopacz, Jackie Kaizar) won for Most Colorful Window at Athleta on Centre Street.

Honorable Mentions went to Linda Docar and Adam Bustard for their window at Triple Sun and Shannon Stucky for the Bride of Frankenstein at Starbucks.

Gold Pumpkins For A Cure

The St. Andrew Art Club won "Best Overall."

Best Store-themed honors went to Olivia Longosky, Sophie Chiovarou and Kylie Mannino.

And Best Halloween Theme was won by Kim Orr.

Honorable mentions went to the Kauffman Group and Lennon and Katie Van Hise.
