Woman Seeks 'Large Sum' Of Cash Dropped At Upper Makefield Bank
The woman was preoccupied because it was the anniversary of her husband's death. Police ask residents to "do the right thing."

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — An elderly woman grieving the anniversary of her husband's death dropped a "large sum" of money in Upper Makefield, and police are asking for the public's help to get the money back to her.
According to police, it happened on Oct. 3 at the Santander Bank in Washington Crossing.
"It was the anniversary of her husband’s death, so she had a lot on her mind and did not realize it until later," police said.

The woman has been unable to find the money, and has been searching for it ever since.
Police are asking anyone who found the money to please contact them. "No questions asked. No charges. We just want to get the money back to her. So, please do the right thing and call us."
