Woman Sentenced For Attempted Murder In Wrightstown
A woman who was charged with attempted murder after a shooting last fall in Wrightstown Township has been sentenced.

An Upper Southampton woman who was charged with attempted murder after a shooting last fall in Wrightstown Township has been sentenced. Elizabeth Hegadorn, 31, who shot her former stepfather at a home on the 1100 block of Swamp Road, will serve 3 to 10 years in prison, the Bucks County Courier Times reported Tuesday.
According to police, Hegadorn fled the scene of the Swamp Road shooting and was later apprehended in Upper Southampton Township.
The shooting was reported just after 5 p.m. on Sept. 13.

Police said Hegadorn pulled up to the residence in an orange Honda Element, went inside and "intentionally" fired two rounds at the victim from a handgun.
Upper Southampton Police located her orange Honda Element in the area of her residence on Carlin Drive and she was taken into custody without incident.
