Testing at the Montgomery County Community College testing site continues to show a reduced rate of positive tests, with positives holding steady at about 14 percent of all individuals tested. That's down significantly from a high of 24 percent at the old Temple-Ambler testing site back during what officials are hoping was the "peak" of the virus around April 5.
While this indicates that social distancing is continuing to work, the numbers show that the virus is far from gone. Furthermore, the number of daily cases has not significantly decreased.

Montgomery County has seen 2,612 cases over the past two weeks, and an average of 187 per day. In order to meet the state's standard to begin lifting restrictions and reopening, that number must come down to an average of 30 per day, or a total of 415 over a two-week period.
The college testing site was closed Sunday to give workers a chance to have a day off. It reopened Monday morning.
