Army National Guard Vet, PLCB Manager in Trooper Dies At 71

James McLean served as the assistant manager of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board in Trooper.

Royersford, PA -- James G. McLean, 71, of Royersford, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Parkhouse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Royersford, PA. He was the husband of Beverly (Buzzard) McLean and the late Antonia "Toni" (Rich) McLean, who died in 1992.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late James G. McLean and Nathalie (Reynaud) McLean McNally, wife of Harry McNally. He served in the Army National Guard and attended Villanova University. After a two decade career in banking, he was employed as an assistant manager for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board at its Trooper Store.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: four daughters: Pam McLean-Parker, wife of Greg, of King Of Prussia; Jennifer Tuberosa, wife of Michael, of Havertown; Diane Riscavage of Havertown; Andrea McLean of King Of Prussia; step-daughter, Traci Straface, wife of Gene, of Royersford; step-son, Todd Dudas, husband of Theresa, of King Of Prussia; two brothers: Randy and John McNally, both of Narberth; ten grandchildren: Jack, Katie, Grant, Ryan, Maura, Carli, Gavin, Griffin, Nina and Owen and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania. Officiating will be Rev. Janelle L. Krais. Friends will be received from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Parkinson's Foundation by visiting www.pdf.org or charity of your choice.
