Boil Water Advisory Issued In Norristown, Plymouth

NORRISTOWN, PA — A water main break led to concerns about contamination and a boil water advisory on Monday evening.

The advisory was issued by Pennsylvania American Water for parts of Norristown and Plymouth. A map showing the exact impacted area is available on their website.

Water tankers have been made available at two locations in Norristown to help local residents get drinking water in the meantime:

• Current Terrace Apartments on 1101 New Hope Street
• CareerLink at 1855 New Hope Street

Please bring your own containers.

Water should be boiled for a minimum of one minute before drinking it or using it for food preparation. Officials said the advisory was in place indefinitely.
