Charity Wiffle Ball Tournament to Raise Funds for Local Down Syndrome Awareness Events

The 3rd Annual Wiffle Fall Classic will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2015 with a start time of 9:00am at the East Norriton Township Park softball field located at 2501 Stanbridge St, Norristown, PA 19401.

The tournament raises money for the T21 Club of the Delaware Valley and the multiple Down Syndrome Awareness events they organize throughout the year including days and nights at Phillies games, Flyers games, and the Philadelphia Zoo along with Buddy Walks and even a Prom for young adults who happen to have Down Syndrome. The mission of the T21 Club is to support the awareness and inclusion of people with Down Syndrome living in PA, NJ, and DE.

The entry fee is $100 a team, which includes an event shirt for all team members. Teams are made up of 3 to 4 players.

No base running, medium pitching speed, 3 players in the field (pitcher and 2 fielders), 3 different pitchers used each game, all teams are guaranteed to play four 3-inning games.

After a qualifying round, teams are broken up into two divisions based on record, and each division will have their own tournament, with a champion in each.
