Doug Emhoff Appears In Montco To Rally For Kamala Harris
Ahead of his wife's debate with Donald Trump in Philly Tuesday night, second gentleman Doug Emhoff campaigned in Montgomery County.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Ahead of his wife's debate with President Donald Trump in Philadelphia Tuesday night, second gentleman Doug Emhoff campaigned in Montgomery County, as the presidential campaign came into hyperlocal focus once again.
Emhoff appeared at the Montgomery County Democratic Committee offices in Norristown Sunday with numerous state, county, and local leaders, to kick off an afternoon of campaigning.
It was part of the Harris-Walz Weekend of Action, a canvassing event that sent volunteers around the region amid the latest news that Trump is staying dead even with Harris in the latest polls, and that Republicans have had more success in registering new voters in the Keystone State than Democrats.

The event occurred just days after Trump appeared in Harrisburg for a special interview with Tucker Carlson, during which he placed renewed focus on issues with election security.

"An interview by Tucker Carlson of an election expert indicates that 20% of the Mail-In Ballots in Pennsylvania are fraudulent," Trump shared on TruthSocial Monday. "Here we go again! Where is the U.S. Attorney General and FBI to INVESTIGATE? Where is the Pennsylvania Republican Party? We will WIN Pennsylvania by a lot, unless the Dems are allowed to CHEAT. THE RNC MUST ACTIVATE, NOW!!!"
In Norristown, Emhoff said that Trump campaign planned to double down on 2020-style misinformation about the election, noting that he's "already complaining about the 2024 election, and literally threatening to jail anyone who stands in his way."
Emhoff's visit to Montgomery County was part of a multi-day tour of battleground states, and also featured a stop in Allentown on Saturday.
