Drunk Norristown Woman Hit Motorcycle, Then Ran Victim Over: DA
The intoxicated woman hit a motorcyclist, launching her 74 feet down the bridge, and then proceeded to run her over, police said.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A Norristown woman has been arrested and charged with homicide by vehicle for a fatal crash earlier this month that left a 41-year-old woman dead.
The incident occurred at around 4:46 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4 on the Dannehower Bridge, which carries Route 202 over the Schuylkill River in West Norriton.
Courtney R. Clinton, 27, was driving north on 202, with a high blood alcohol content, when she struck the back tire of the motorcycle riding in front of her, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said.

She was driving at about 74 miles an hour when she first hit the motorcycle, authorities said. The speed limit there is 45.
The driver of the motorcycle, Lakiesha Richet, 41, of Norristown, was thrown off the bike about 74 feet when Clinton hit her.

Clinton then continued driving and eventually ran over Richet, pinning her beneath the engine of her car, according to the DA. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Toxicology results showed that Clinton had a BAC of .138, well over the legal limit.
Clinton was arraigned on Friday, Aug. 16 and bail was set at $50,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 6.
