Eagles Star Malcolm Jenkins To Highlight Habitat MontDelco Gala
The 30th annual celebration for Habitat MontDelco will be highlighted by Super Bowl champion Malcolm Jenkins.

NORRISTOWN, PA — The 30th annual celebration for Habitat MontDelco will be highlighted by Super Bowl champion Malcolm Jenkins.
The yearly gala raises funds to support Habitat's local programs, which include building and repairing homes, providing financial literacy education, and working to revitalize communities.
“Our 30th year is such an important milestone because we’re seeing the hopes and dreams of hardworking families fulfilled," Habitat MontDelco CEO Marianne Lynch said in a statement. "They’re paying off their 30-year mortgages, so they own real estate, their kids have graduated college and they’ve broken the cycle of generational poverty. Their success stories prove that when volunteers, funders and community leaders give a hand up—not a handout—permanent change is absolutely possible."

Jenkins will host a question and answer session with guests at the event. Montgomery County native Rosemary Connors, an Emmy-award winning news anchor, will be the evening's emcee.
The Norristown-based organization has expanded its footprint in the area, opening a "Restore" in Horsham last year. There is also one in West Norriton.
