Eagles Take On Packers For Thursday Night Football: What To Know
After a string of heartbreaking losses, the Eagles face a tough challenge in Green Bay on national television Thursday night.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — After suffering back to back heartbreaking losses in weeks two and three, the Eagles will look to right the ship on national television as they face off against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.
The 1-2 Birds will have their hands full with a tough, still undefeated Green Bay team that enters the night on a 3-0 run. Not only will the Eagles have to contend with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and a potent Packers offense that hasn't even fired on all cylinders yet, they'll need to figure out a way to be productive against the Packers defense, which is a big reason for their undefeated record. Specifically, they have the fifth best defense in the league against passing, allowing just 197.3 yards per game.
The game will be held at the notorious Lambeau Field in Green Bay, where a raucous crowd will not make things easy for Carson Wentz and his playcalling.

The Eagles are not only coming off of two tough losses, they're coming off of three consecutive intensely close games, all of which they had a chance not only to win, but to break open. There won't be a chance for missed opportunities on Thursday night against one of the NFC's best in Green Bay.

A loss would drop the Birds well behind the now 3-0 Cowboys, who lead the NFC East. The good news for the Birds? The Cowboys have two consecutive weeks of tough matchups coming up, first against the Saints, and then their own showdown with Green Bay.
