RED EMMA by Chris Braak

Emma Goldman was one of the most important agitators for free speech, for worker's rights, and for universal compassion in American history.  This new play explores not just the breadth of her ideas, but also the drama of her astonishing life. Mary Kay Tuomanen stars as Emma Goldman in the one woman show about the power of Goldman's ideas and life written by Chris Braak and Directed by John Doyle.
The play is the next in our series of social justice productions in the genre of Marx in Soho by Howard Zinn and Citizen Paine by Bill Hollenbach. This is a world premiere as part of the iIndependent Voices Festival
