Why go: Greater Norristown Art League will host the 69^th annual Open Juried Exhibition and Sale.

Where/When: MontcoSAAC, 536 George St., Norristown; May 20, and every Friday, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Why go: Ditch the workout and join the Zumba party: a blend of Latin and international music, combined with a fun and effective dance workout.

Price: $2 SAAC members, $4 nonmembers

Where/When: , 330 Roland Drive, Norristown; May 21, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Why go: The dance students of ACPPA Community Art Center have been hard at work preparing for this performance!

Price: $7.50

Where/When: , 603 E. Elm St., Norristown; May 23, 7 to 8 p.m.

Why go: Sponsored by Montco Health Department, this is the third installment of the Cancer Awareness Series. The topic will be ovarian cancer, and Susan Nolte, a gynecological nurse-practitioner, will speak about cervical cancer and HPV. The community is invited to come and learn—men are welcome, too.

Why go: There will be fun, games, crafts and food for families. Discover the great work being done at the Family Center, and the programs offered for families of young children.
