A Health Advisory was issued in Pennsylvania after officials warned of a new probable case of measles.

A Health Advisory was issued in Pennsylvania over the weekend after officials warned of a probable recent case of measles. It would be the third case of measles in the state in 2018, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
The suspected infected patient was admitted to the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in central Pennsylvania on the morning of Aug. 18. State health department officials said they were notified it was a possible measles case on Aug. 24.
Specifically, authorities warned that anyone who may have been near the check-in area of the Emergency Department at Hershey Medical Center that morning should check for symptoms.

Since measles symptoms take days if not weeks to develop, anyone who contracted measles from the patient in Hershey could develop the rash from Aug. 25 through Sept. 8.
Health officials said that most residents are not at risk because they've either already been immunized, or they've already had measles.
Individuals who are most susceptible to measles include anyone with a compromised immune system, and anyone born since 1957 who has not received two doses of the measles vaccine.
Symptoms include a rash lasting more than three days, a temperature of 101 degrees or higher, and related symptoms like coughing, red and watery eyes, and runny nose.
