[UPDATED] KoP Water Woes Continue

Pennsylvania American Water Company said it had repaired a water main break that opened a sinkhole on Crooked Lane yesterday, but another break this morning kept some customers in the area without water.

Update April 19, 1:32 p.m. Upper Merion Township reports on the municipal website that one lane of the sinkhole-affected portion on Crooked Lane is now open, but that residents are still advised to seek alternate routes around the area.

The township said it is working with PennDOT and Pennsylvania American Water Company personnel to "assess road conditions and develop a restoration plan to fill and stabilize the sinkhole area" before repairing the road.
