A large sinkhole opened in King of Prussia on Tuesday morning after a water main break, according to authorities.
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A road in King of Prussia buckled on Tuesday morning after a water main break, according to authorities.
The incident occurred sometime around 8 a.m. on Shaffer Road near Route 202, police said.
Shaffer Road was shut down between Kingwood Road and DeKalb Pike (202) as authorities responded to the situation.

Large fragments of the road have buckled and are submerged in a deep pool of water beneath the surface of the road. A stop sign and one-way sign have also been dislodged and submerged.
Upper Merion Police said that the Highway Department and Aqua Pennsylvania crews are on the scene.
