Man Rescued After Being Pinned Under Machinery In Upper Merion

A contractor was trapped under a mini-excavator on Tuesday in Upper Merion, officials said.

UPPER MERION, PA — A man was rescued Tuesday after being trapped under a fallen mini-excavator in Upper Merion, authorities said.

The incident occurred in the afternoon on Feb. 19 on Cinnamon Hill Road.

The Montgomery County Urban Search and Rescue Team was assisted by the King of Prussia Vol. Fire Company and the Upper Merion Township Police Department on the scene.

According to 6ABC, the victim was a 20-year-old contractor.

He was eventually rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment, where his reportedly stable.
