Montco To Hold Vaccine Clinics At National Nights Out
Mobile vaccination clinics will offer the single-dose Johnson & Johnson shot at several of the upcoming events.
NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County authorities are taking advantage of the upcoming National Night Out celebrations across the area to try to get a few more vaccines out into the public.
Pop-up clinics will be run at several of the events through the county's mobile vaccination unit. The single dose Johnson & Johnson shot will be available for anyone 18 and older who has not yet received a COVID-19 vaccine.
National Night Out events are community celebrations that aim to improve and recognize relations between local residents and law enforcement. Here's how local officials describe it: "National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
