National 'Women For Trump' Coalition Launches Tuesday In KOP
The national campaign, starting in King of Prussia, will be dedicated to "recruiting and activating women in support of President Trump."

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — As the 2020 election draws ever closer, Pennsylvania continues to be dead center in the sights of both Democratic challengers and President Trump.
Trump's campaign has chosen Valley Forge Casino as the location to launch a new coalition aimed at increasing national support for the President amongst women, just up I-76 from Joe Biden's campaign headquarters.
The move comes as President Trump attempts to shore up his support both in a crucial battleground state in Pennsylvania, and with a demographic that has historically opposed him. A recent Hill-HarrisX poll indicates that just 38 percent of women currently approve of the President, and just 42 percent of women voted for him in 2016.

"The Women for Trump Coalition will be a national effort to mobilize and empower women who support President Trump," Hannah Castillo, Trump's Director of Coalitions, said in a statement announcing the event.
Numerous other high-profile Trump advisers and backers will be on hand in King of Prussia Tuesday, including Katrina Pierson, Brad Parscale, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Mercedes Schlapp, and Kayleigh McEnany.
President Trump has been embroiled in numerous scandals regarding his comments on and behavior towards women, including accusations of sexual abuse. It is a pattern that has not abated, with the most recent high profile allegation coming just weeks ago. And days ago, he faced backlash and allegatations of racism from both sides of the aisle for comments made about four Democratic Congresswomen.
And yet despite this, Trump's campaign has garnered increased donations from women thus far in 2019, according to a recent Politico report. Nearly half of all donations to his 2020 campaign this year have come from women, up from a 28 percent rate in 2016.
Whether that will ultimately transition over to the voting booth is unknown, and polls continue to show Democrats leading Trump both nationally and in the Keystone State. Top Democratic candidates Joe Biden (10.5 points), Bernie Sanders (8.5 points), and Elizabeth Warren (2.5 points) all lead Trump in Pennsylvania, according to an aggregate of the most recent polls from RealClearPolitics.
