Norristown To Host Special Exhibit For Hispanic Heritage Month

National Hispanic Heritage month begins in Norristown and around the country on September 15.

NORRISTOWN, PA – The Norristown Municipal Council will host an Art Exhibit Opening Reception on Thursday, September 15 to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, they announced in a press release.

The reception is free and open to the public from 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m., and will be held at the Norristown Municipal Building, the release states.

The event will feature food, artwork, music, and more from Norristown's Hispanic community, the release states.

“During Hispanic Heritage Month, we take the time to recognize how Norristown’s growing Hispanic residents enrich our community with diversity and culture,” Council President Sonya Sander was quoted in thepress release. “The diversity in our town is one of our great strengths, making it one of the most vibrant municipalities in the county.”

The exhibit will run through October 13.
