Norristown Man Busted With Massive Store of Child Porn, Tricked 15-Year-Old Into Sex: DA

"I haven't seen seen as large a trove of child pornography in the history of Chester County, and the rest of the conduct is unspeakable."

Two men have been arrested in Chester County for repeatedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl and producing and maintaining a massive store of child pornography, according to the District Attorney's Office.

Lawrence Jamieson, 57, of Malvern, and John Brown, 25, of Norristown were arrested on charges of sex trafficking, sexual assault, child pornography, and related charges, the DA's office announced Wednesday.

"Even after decades of serving in law enforcement, the scope and nature of these crimes are staggering," said Willistown Police Chief John Narcise. "I haven't seen seen as large a trove of child pornography in the history of Chester County, and the rest of the conduct is unspeakable. I do not know what kind of depraved mind could possibly enjoy this sickening abuse of innocent children."

Jamieson, who owns a construction company, introduced the 15-year-old girl to Brown, an employee at a tire company, in 2015, the DA said. The pair lied to the girl and convinced her that Brown was only 17 in order to lure her into a relationship, a criminal complaint states.

Both Brown and Jamieson sexually assaulted the girl, recording numerous pictures and videos of their activities and sharing them via texts and emails, the DA said. The incidents took place in Willistown Township and Conshohocken, according to the DA.

Police first received a report of child sexual abuse at Jamieson's residence on Aug. 1 and executed a search warrant at his house, a criminal complaint states. They found around a thousand DVDs, thumb drives and other storage devices with child pornography titles such as "Asian 4 yo" and "Roxanne 13 yo," according to the DA.

Police later discovered that the devices contained more than 50,000 images and videos, 5,000 of which depict sexually explicit images of children and adults sexually assaulting children, the DA said.

One of the images included the name of a girl and a local high school, according to the DA.

DA Tom Hogan urged the public to come forward with any information that they may have on Jamieson or Brown. Authorities are suspicious that there may be more victims.

Anyone with information should contact Willistown Detective Steve Jones at 610-251-0222.
