A Norristown man, previously arrested for beating his girlfriend, will spend up to five years in prison for dealing heroin and oxycodone.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- A Norristown man has been sentenced to two and a half to five years in prison after being found guilty of selling heroin, according to court documents.
Mark Steve Williams Jr., 26, has a lengthy rap sheet, including a 2011 robbery of a Lansdale convenience store, and a 2015 incident in which he slammed his girlfriend's head into the concrete while she was holding a newborn infant. Each incident earned him a sentence of up to 23 months, but he got out early.
This time, he's going away for longer.
