Why Go?: Entertainment, games and activities for all ages. Activities include Zumba, and presentations on dental hygiene, weight-loss, environmental health, body image, smoking cessation and more.
Price: Free.
Where & When: Elmwood Park Zoo, 1661 Harding Blvd., Norristown; Saturday, April 30, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go?: Celebrate Earth Day with activities and info at the zoo, to education children and adults on the importance of conservation. Showtimes and talks will be held throughout the day and recycling and conservation displays and educational exhibits for the whole family will be open.

Where & When: Hibernian Hall, 342 Jefferson St., Bridgeport; Saturday, April 30, 7-11 p.m.
Why Go?: The most fun you can have on two feet! Irish social/folk dancing, Ceili, Waltz, Quick Step and Two-hand Dancing. Music by Kevin, Jimmy and Judy.
Price: $10.
Where & When: Greater Norristown Art League, 800 W. Germantown Pike, Norristown; April 30 and May 1, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go?: Meet the artists, see demonstrations and view artwork in a self-guided, open studio tour.
