Norristown Police Plan 'National Night Out'
Music, food, entertainment, games, refreshments, and much more can be found at the annual block party event.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Police in Norristown will hold their National Night Out event early next month.
It will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.on the 1300 block of Willow Street.
According to organizers, the annual, nationwide event aims to bring police and the community closer together to promote awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity. National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in the fight for a safer nation, officials said.

The night will feature a games, entertainment, free food and refreshments, giveaways, and much more.
Representatives from numerous local businesses and organizations will be on hand, including Norristown police and fire, Norristown Neighborhood Watch, municipal council, other government officials, and more. Various local nonprofits and businesses will be on hand providing information on their services.
