• DEP Posted 73 Pages Of Permit-Related Notices In September 26 PA Bulletin (blogspot.com) — State regulators are inviting public comments on a stormwater permit for a PECO substation and twin 230 kV transmission lines that would cross the Schuylkill River through Norristown, Bridgeport, West Norriton, and Upper Merion. The project would disturb more than 32 acres and is separate from any data center plans, giving Norristown residents a key chance to weigh in before construction proceeds.
   

• 2026 Master Schedule List (easternpafootball.com) — Norristown hosts Upper Merion in high school football today at 1 p.m., giving local fans a home game to catch this weekend. The broader master schedule also lists dozens of other Pennsylvania and out-of-state matchups, but Norristown's 0–4 squad gets a chance to regroup on its own field.
