Primary Election Day In Norristown: Who's On The Ballot

Tuesday is Primary Election Day in Pennsylvania. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Tuesday is Primary Election day across Pennsylvania.

In Norristown, voters will weigh in on the race for Democratic state senator in the 17th District, which is now down between incumbent Daylin Leach and challenger Amanda Cappelletti.

On the Democratic ballot, U.S. Rep. Madeleine Dean (PA-4) is running uncontested for the party's nomination in Congress. This will be her second term, if she wins the general election as expected in November.

Republican Kathy Barnette is running unchallenged for that seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, and will face Dean in November.

Meanwhile, Ellen Fisher is alone on the Republican ballot as well, and will contest in the general election against the winner of Leach and Cappelletti.

Polls will open Tuesday, June 2 at 7 a.m. Voters can cast ballots up until 8 p.m., and drop off ballots at one of 10 different drop-off boxes countywide until 8 p.m.
