Quilting at Montco SAAC

Quilting began out of necessity, when fabric was expensive and hard to obtain—every bit of cloth had to be recycled. What began out of thrift grew into a social outlet for women and has become an exceptionally beautiful and enjoyable handicraft.

Quilters at meet Tuesday and Friday mornings at 9:30 a.m. They are currently crafting twin bed quilts to be raffled at an upcoming SAAC fundraiser, and blankets and quilts for the Binky Patrol.

The quilters are always looking for new members. All experience levels are welcome.
