NORRISTOWN, PA — A wanted 18-year-old man charged with the murder of Norristown teenager Jordan Scott has been arrested, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced Thursday afternoon.
Isaiah Freeman, 18, of Norristown, was taken into custody at residence on North Third Street in Philadelphia on Wednesday, police said. The United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force made the arrest.
A $1,000 reward for information leading to Freeman's arrest was posted by the DA's office on Tuesday, but authorities said the arrest was not a result of tips from the reward.

The incident occurred on Thursday, July 6 at around 6:32 p.m. on the 600 block of Chain Street, according to police.
Jordan Scott, 16, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at Mercy Suburban Hospital at 7:28 p.m., the DA said. Another teenager with Scott was suffering from a gunshot wound to the ankle.
An investigation revealed that Wilson was driving a 2013 Dodge Charger while Freeman was in the front passenger seat, police said. They saw the two teenagers walking near Chain and Oak streets and parked around the corner to wait for them. When the two arrived, they opened fire.
A preliminary hearing for Wilson has been set for Sept. 7. No bail is offered for first-degree murder charges, and he was taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
