Suspect Admits To Role In 2015 Killing of Norristown Man

One of the three men arrested after a man was found shot dead in a gas station parking lot has plead guilty to third degree murder.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- One of the men arrested in March in connection with the April 2015 killing of a man in Norristown has plead guilty to third degree murder, according to court documents.

Diandre Brown, 22, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County recently. He was one of three men arrested and charged with murder in connection with the killing of a man in Norristown in April of 2015, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said.

Kevin Slocum, 21, and Terrell Slocum, 23 were also booked for the homicide of 30-year-old Keithon Majors, according to the DA.

At about 8:52 p.m on April 6, 2015, Norristown Police responded to reports to shots fired near 1200 Locust Street, according to the DA.

When they arrived they found glass in the streets but no sign of anyone involved in the shootings, the DA said.

About 10 minutes later at 9:03 pm., a Plymouth Township police officer found the victim, Majors, inside a vehicle at the Lukoil service station on 603 Ridge Pike, according to the DA.

Majors was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:37 p.m., the DA said.

One arrest in connection with this killing was made in June. Chad Jonathan Beringer was arrested and charged with Majors' murder.

His trial began on May 2, according to court documents.

The Slocums trial is still ongoing.
