NORRISTOWN, PA — A small dog was stolen from a pet store on Egypt Road on Thursday evening, store owners said. The dog needs its medication immediately to avoid potentially serious medical complications, owners said.
Images of the suspect have been released and police and store owners are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect and the dog.
The incident occurred at around 6:45 p.m. at Tom's Pet Outlet, which is located at 2609 Egypt Road in Norristown.

The suspect, a blonde woman of indeterminate age, is seen in surveillance footage taking a two-pound Yorkshire Terrier from his glass enclosure.
"It is critical that this dog is returned as soon as possible due to the possibility that it may go into hypoglycemic shock which could be fatal," store owners said. "Dogs of this size are extremely fragile and we are asking for the public's help."
