Woman Sues After Being Run Over By Upper Merion Cop: Report
Police have reportedly shifted blame to the 53-year-old woman, who was in a restricted parking lot at a township concert when she was hit.

UPPER MERION, PA — A local woman has sued after she was struck by an Upper Merion police officer during a township concert back in 2017, according to a report.
Natasha Shahu, 53, was on her way back to her car following the township's annual "Concerts Under the Stars" event when she accidentally came through a parking lot that was restricted to police only, according to 6ABC.
That's when the Upper Merion officer hit her, breaking her hand, tearing her ankle tendon, and causing other injuries. She's ultimately incurred $30,000 in medical bills from the incident, and the township has only offered about $20,000 in support, according to the report.

Shahu's attorney calls the police report, which seems to shift blame to Shahu for being in the lot, "one of the most self-serving bias documents I've read in 12 years of practicing law," the report states.
