2 Burglaries Under Investigation In Northampton Twp.
Northampton Township Police reported two separate incidents Saturday, including one at the Village Shires.
NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Northampton Township Police Department is investigating two burglaries that took Saturday.
The first incident happened at the Village Shires where police responded to an alarm activation.
Upon arrival, officers said the glass portion of the doors was smashed. The area behind the counter was also in disarray, police said.

The store was processed for evidence and the investigation is being handled by the detectives’ unit.
Also on Saturday, police responded to Whitney Lane for a report of a burglary not in progress.

A resident said they'd been out of the home and when they returned they found their door smashed, their dogs secured in the basement, and items stolen from the home.
Detectives processed the home for evidence and were taking charge of the investigation.
