Attempted Child Luring Under Investigation In Bucks Co.

Police in Bucks County are investigating a report of an attempted child luring that occurred Saturday just before noon.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Police in Bucks County are investigating a report of an attempted child luring that occurred Saturday just before noon.

According to police, the incident happened along the 200 block of Jacksonville Road in Warminster Township. A 16-year-old girl told police a man driving a sedan yelled out to the victim, verbally threatening her in an attempt to force her into his vehicle. The victim ran off, and the man drove off continuing north, police said.

The man was the sole occupant of the sedan, which was described as a small, older-model black car. The make and model was not provided.

The driver is described as a heavy-set, white male in his 30s with short dark hair and a short dark beard.

Police are currently attempting to obtain nearby video surveillance. Check back for photographs if they become available.
