Boil Water Advisory Issued In Northampton After Water Main Break

A water main break was reported this morning on Buck Road near the intersection of Bristol Road in Northampton Township.

Due to the loss of water pressure in the main, a boil water advisory has been issued for the following areas:

• Falcon Drive, section of Buck Road east of Bristol Road (Commercial and Professional Office)
• Witherington Drive (Residential)
• North Marmic Drive (Residential)
• South Marmic Dive (Residential)
• Select homes located on Chinquapin Drive connected through private easements to North Marmic Drive (Residential)

According to the Northampton Bucks County Municipal Authority, an excavation contractor is already on site providing the necessary repairs. "Unfortunately, due to the location, we have both residential and commercial properties impacted by the event," an announcement from the township said.
