NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department reported several crimes that occurred in the area from Monday, Jan. 3 to Saturday, Jan. 8.

Monday, Jan. 3

- Police responded to a two-car accident on Bustleton Pike at Upper Holland Rd., with one car backing up into another. Neither party was injured and no tows were required.
- A store on 2nd St. Pike reported a theft; an employee told authors that a white male, wearing black baseball hat, black gator mask, gray sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black boots, ran out of the store with a shopping cart full of items before fleeing in a Toyota sedan.
Tuesday, Jan. 4
- A driver was arrested for DUI after his car was spotted on a large pile of rocks off the road on Worthington Mill Rd. He was arrested on the spot.
- Police responded to a two-car accident on West Bristol Rd. at 2nd St. Pike; one car tried to turn in front of another and struck them. Neither party was injured and no tows were required.
- Police responded to a two-car accident on Middle Holland Rd. at Rock Way; one car rear-ended another. The driver of the struck vehicle reported that he had head pain, but refused medical assistance. Neither car was towed.
- A case of fraud was reported from Grant Drive; the complainant said an unknown person was using her mother's bank card. The case is currently being investigated.
Wednesday, Jan. 5

- Police responded to a single vehicle accident on Buck Rd. at Rocksville Rd.; the car hit an ice patch and went off the road and into and embankment. No injuries were reported.
- Another single vehicle car accident was reported on Buck Rd. at Elaine Dr.; the driver hit ice and hit a guardrail. No injuries were reported.
- A large box truck struck another vehicle on Churchville Lane at Lakeside Dr. Neither party was injured and no tows were required.
- A business off of Railroad Dr. reported having two catalytic converters stolen from the property. The case is currently being investigated.
- A suspect, wanted on a warrant, turned himself into the police department's headquarters. He was arraigned by a judge and released.
Thursday, Jan. 6
- Smoke was seen coming from a telephone pole on 1000 block of Bridgetown Pike. Police and firefighters could not find the source of the smoke.
Friday, Jan. 7
- A single vehicle car accident was reported on the 500 block of Bridgetown Pike; the driver hit ice and slid after making a turn.
- A two vehicle car accident was reported from Almshouse Rd. at 2nd St. Pike; one car turned into another.
- A single vehicle car accident was reported on Buck Rd. at Rolling Hills Dr.; the driver struck a deer.
Saturday, Jan. 8
- An assault was reported from Green Meadow; the suspect was taken into custody.
- A theft was reported from Industrial Drive; an unknown subject stole the catalytic convertor from his Ford F-350.
- A hit and run was reported from Bluebird Road; complainant said his parked car was side-swiped.
- A man was taken onto custody for DUI on Lower Holland Rd. at Braebourne Dr.
