Catching up

Did you ever have the sense your life was Fictional?  Mine has seemed so for about a year.

This time last year four years after Mom died, the hinting from my family came to a head.  My legal dad isn't my biological dad.  But that's ok...  We, my mom and I had been divorced from my legal dad my whole life - well, since I was one month old anyway.  So, he wasn't much of a father to lose.

They told me Bailey, my mom's long time boyfriend, is my dad. Huzzah!
The problem is that's all I really know about him. The facts are far and few between.

Here are the (admittedly sparse facts): Mom and Bailey met sometime in 1971(ish) and were friends and then more. My birthday is Dec 10, 1972.
Mom's name was Linda Mary Sakowski Lenhardt. Her birthday was 9 December, 1938.
Bailey was her nickname for him - it's derived from some portion of his name - maybe his middle name. She told me at some point that she called him that because she didn't like his given name(s).
Bailey, worked in radio in 1971 at WBCB in the 7-Midnight shift.  His On Air Name was Bruce Bailey.  (This is quite likely not his given name)  He was between 5'10'' and 6'2'' with brown/red hair. In the early 1970s it was chin to shoulder length and he had a mustache. He has blue eyes and a rich, deep voice.
Later he worked at a big paint store, you know like Benjamin Moore, I don't know which one. And after that, at a store that sold sports equipment, including letterman jackets. It's were I got my school jacket, everyone else at school got them through one of those catalogs (for a different store altogether).
