Northampton Police Catch Strong-Arm Robbery Suspect After Chase
Police caught the man Thursday morning after chasing him into a wooded area off of Chinquapin Road in the Holland section.

NORTHAMPTON, PA — A police foot chase into a wooded area in the Holland section of Northampton led to a man's arrest on robbery charges Thursday morning.
At 8:23 a.m., police were called to a residence in the 200 block of Buck Road, where a victim reported car keys being forcibly taken by a familiar person. The man, whom police identified as 33-year-old Marcus Antonio Rosario, ran away just before officers arrived, police said.
According to police, officers also found that Rosario had an active warrant for his arrest and a protection from abuse order filed against him.

They found him in the area of Buck Road and Holland Road, at which time police say Rosario ran into a wooded property off of Chinquapin Road. After a short foot chase, police say they found Rosario crossing a creek, then hiding in some sticker bushes.
Officers arrested him, at which time they found he also had drug paraphernalia in his possession, police say.

Rosario was arraigned before district Justice William Benz and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail.
