Driver Killed In Sunday Northampton Crash
The crash caused Newtown Richboro Road to be closed for several hours on Sunday morning and into Sunday afternoon.

NORTHAMPTON, PA — The driver who crashed into a utility pole in Northampton on Sunday was killed in the wreck, according to police.
The crash happened at about 8:12 a.m. on Newtown Richboro Road between Rock Way and Saint Leonards Road. According to Northampton Township Police Lt. Steven Lecompte, officers arrived at the scene to find a vehicle crashed into a telephone pole with heavy damage.
The driver, whom police were not publicly identifying on Monday, was the only person in the vehicle, he said.

The crash caused Rt. 332 to be closed for several hours on Sunday morning and into Sunday afternoon. PECO had to respond to replace the pole, according to Lecompte.
The crash remained under investigation on Monday. Police were assisted by Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad, Northampton Public Works, Northampton Fire Department and the Bucks County Coroner's office.
