Driveway Scam Warning Issued By Northampton Twp. Police

With the weather improving, police said that driveway scams will become more prominent in Northampton Township.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Northampton Township Police Department is urging residents to be alert for driveway scams.

Police said with the weather getting warmer, there will be more people out trying to scam residents.

"If someone approaches you while you are outside or knocks at your door saying, 'We are in the area working on your neighbor's driveway and happen to have extra material. We can do your driveway at a discounted rate,' it's usually too good to be true," police said.
