NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —A fire severely damaged an apartment in the township's Tapestry section over the weekend, fire officials said.

The Northampton Township Fire Department responded just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday to a report of an end-unit apartment on fire in the 1700 block of Hopkins Court.

Fire officials reported fire showing from a second-floor apartment.

Fire crews established a water supply and stretched attack lines into the unit to extinguish the fire.

The fire was held to one apartment, with smoke and water damage to several others, fire officials said.

No injuries were reported.

Feasterville Fire Company, Newtown Fire Rescue, Southampton Fire Company No. 1, Lower Southampton Fire Department No.1, Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company, Yardley-Makefield Fire Company, and the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad assisted with the fire.
