Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Weekend House Fire In Holland

HOLLAND, PA —The Northampton Township Fire Department responded to a house fire Saturday afternoon off Lower Holland Road in the township.

When Deputy 3 arrived, smoke was showing from the rear of the house.

Rescue 3 established a water supply and went in service with hose lines while Quint 3, Newtown Fire Rescue Ladder 45 and Southampton Fire Company No. 1 laddered the building and went in service with overhaul operations.

The fire was quickly placed under control and units were back in service, fire officials reported.
