Tree Dedication Planned For Council Rock Student Who Died In Crash

A tree will be dedicated this weekend in memory of Ryan Lesher, who tragically died in a car crash in 2014.

The tree dedication, held by Council Rock United Soccer Association, will be held Sunday, June 12th at 1pm at the Northampton Civic Center, field 2.

Ryan, a Churchville resident and athlete who played for CRUSA, passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2014. He was 15. He was about to begin his sophomore year at Council Rock South.

A foundation has since been established in his memory.

Lesher was one of three Council Rock students who died in the single-car accident in Wayne County.
