Wawa Customers Chase Would-Be Carjacker In Bucks County: Police

Police say customers at a Bucks County Wawa sprung into action Sunday evening, after a man attempted to carjack a woman there.

According to Bensalem Police, a man approached the woman after she had just filled her gas tank. He grabbed the door, held it open, then covered the victim’s mouth with his hand and told her to keep quiet as he tried to force her out of the driver’s seat, Bensalem Police said. The victim fought back and honked her horn, prompting people nearby to intervene, police said.
