Badman Road Resident Arrested for Theft of Salt Spreaders

A Green Lane man is facing several charges in connection with the November theft of two salt spreaders from Perkiomen Performance.

The Pennsylvania State Police have announced the arrest of 19-year-old Christopher Sean Malone, of the 100-block of Badman Road in Green Lane, in connection with the November theft of two salt spreaders.

According to the police report, Malone -- who was arrested on July 12 -- allegedly stole two salt spreaders from Perkiomen Performance, located at 108 Gravel Pike in Green Lane, sometime between November 1 and November 22 of 2011. The combined value of the spreaders was $3,000.

Malone has been charged with criminal conspiracy, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, and receiving stolen property. District Judge Catherine Hummel-Fried set bail at $25,000 unsecured.
